  • Lead Electronic Game Support / Maintenance Technician
The Lead Game Technician position is responsible for leading the Game Tech Team in maintaining the functionality of our unique game technology. Through various troubleshooting and repair techniques as well as timely and accurate reporting, you will guide the venue team in resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently, contributing to a positive and engaging atmosphere on the course.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and repair game technology to ensure optimal functionality and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead the game tech team in the completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with game tech features and systems using the procedures defined in the Game Tech Handbook
  • Assists in training Game Technicians, provides feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Document and report system performance, repairs, and maintenance accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Lead game tech team in regular inspections and preventative maintenance of all course related areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring that component backstock and spare parts inventory is well stocked to inventory standards; oversee technical room organization and cleanliness.
  • Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to management.
  • Stay up to date on company technological advancements or best practices.
  • Assist Game Techs with their duties as needed.
  • Assist guests with game play on the course in a fast-paced environment.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of technical experience; preferred 1+ years as a lead/supervisor supporting a small team of technician
  • Proven experience in technical support and maintenance in a gaming or entertainment environment; Prior experience in small electronic and mechanical repair
  • Ability to learn unique software and hardware systems that support the game.
  • Basic understanding of electromechanical devices (linear actuators, small conveyor systems, etc.)
  • Proficient with computer systems, technology and PC hardware installations.
  • Proficient with technical documentation; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient with electronic circuitry and testing equipment
  • Skilled in practical application of electronics and mechanics.
  • Experience with using hand tools and small power tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a guest focused mind set; provide an exceptional experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and guests
  • Strong problem-solving skills down to the component level and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Ability to effectively lead a Game Tech team in a guest-facing environment.
  • Must have flexibility to work varied schedules to include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
  • This position must pass a post-offer background.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 1 year of technical or mechanical support experience in a gaming entertainment environment
  • Soldering experience
  • Experience with Ethernet data infrastructure
