Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage incoming service requests via phone, email, or online platforms
  • Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians based on customer needs and technician availability
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm appointments, provide status updates, and address any concerns
  • Coordinate with installation crews and service technicians to ensure timely arrival at job sites
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer information, service details, and technician notes
  • Monitor service technicians' progress and provide support as needed to ensure efficient completion of jobs
  • Work closely with the sales team to schedule follow-up appointments or additional services
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary parts and materials for repairs
  • Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service, safety, and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dispatching or scheduling role, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Proficiency in computer software systems for scheduling and dispatching (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of window and door products, installations, and repair processes is a plus
