Project Engineer Position Available

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for project organization and management? We're looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to join our commercial construction team. As the Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating and overseeing departmental projects, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication throughout.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project and File Management: Take charge of setting up and organizing project files, managing document flow, tracking changes, and handling closeout documents. Your meticulous attention to detail will be key in supporting the Project Management team and meeting project deadlines.

Project Administration: Compile summary documents, prepare meeting minutes, and manage data input into our in-house construction system. Your organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining accurate records and facilitating smooth project administration.

Project Purchasing: Serve as the central point for project purchasing activities, conducting materials research, assisting with pricing, and managing purchase orders. Your role will involve liaising with suppliers and ensuring timely procurement of materials.

Additional Responsibilities: Conduct weekly job site visits, provide leadership through knowledge sharing, and handle any other assigned duties with diligence and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Basic mathematical abilities, including calculations and concepts of algebra and geometry.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Ability to pass E-Verify.
