Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCentury Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $30 to $40 per hour.

Job Description:
  • Generate quarterly and Annual/W2 tax reconciliations and Audits.
  • Ensure researching employee tax information, address and location data, state and local website information, multistate and local tax withholding requirements.
  • Manage recurring payroll processes of low to moderate complexity and/or risk.
  • Support the intake, assigning, research, and resolution of general payroll and tax withholding inquiries.
  • Process employee payroll tax adjustments in ADP Vantage system as needed.
  • Assist with the processing and audit of regular on and off cycle payrolls.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 
  • 4+ years' relevant experience or similar role
  • 2+ years of experience working in payroll 
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and HRIS systems
Experience:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial for accurate tax calculations.
