Lead Electrician Summary

Our team seeks a Lead Electrician to oversee and install jobs to proper specifications and plans. As a Lead Electrician with our team, you will be expected to assess and repair electrical problems on commercial or residential job sites, read blueprints and install a proper electrical system. You will also be involved with hands-on projects on company job sites. You will also participate in off-site training and certifications. To start, your duties will include training any men put under you, to teach, and educate apprentices on proper installation and code requirements, and to make sure the job is on time and under budget. As a Lead Electrician you will be working directly for a Project Manager who will work with you to coordinate current and upcoming projects.

Lead Electrician Duties and Responsibilities

· Read and interpret plans and blueprints

· Prepare and clean work areas

· Carry and deliver materials

· Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment

· Use measuring equipment and hand tools to perform conduit work

· Follow safety codes and building regulations

Electrician Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED certificate

· Completion of electrician training program preferred

· Able to diagnose problems using electronic test equipment

· Knowledge of NEC electrical codes

· Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprint

· Coordinate with general contractor and project manager

o You will be reporting to the Vice President and General Manager
