Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare organization in PARRISH FL USA . This is a 3-month assignment (possibility of contract to hire).

Schedule: Mon to Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Pay rate: $18 -23/hr (Pay rate depends on experience, expertise and education)

Duties:

  • Assist Physician with injections and EKG's
  •  Rooming and taking vital signs for patients that are scheduled.
  • Monitor daily tasks.
  • Call patients back with test results.
  • Chart Prepping for providers.
  • Administer injections and draw labs
  • Maintain quality control standards

Education/Requirements:

  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
  • Be bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
  • Have 2 years experience as a medical assistant or related experience in a medical setting
  • Strong medical Terminology and insurance knowledge
  • ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience
  • MA Certification
