HCH Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Accounting Clerk.  This is a temporary, full-time position with HCH Enterprises, LLC

Position Summary:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Strong data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies up to 20 pounds.
