Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Toddler or Preschool Teacher to join our team here at NMS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment using the Montessori Method. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about the education of young children.

Responsibilities:
- Provide and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

-Keep the environment clean and orderly, maintaining all materials in the classroom

-Assist with all activities throughout the day including mealtimes, toileting, outdoor/indoor play and daily work period

- Conduct educational activities that promote social, physical, and cognitive development in accordance with Montessori Curriculum

- Observe and guide students through lessons and everyday practical interactions

- Collaborate and communicate with co-workers and parents to support each child's individual needs

- Manage classroom behaviors in a positive way

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with toddler or preschool age children

-Ability to maintain a safe learning environment in accordance with NMS and EEC policies

- Knowledge of child development and education

-Ability to work well with peers

-Willing to learn/grow and participate in professional development opportunities

- Strong classroom management skills and patience in handling young children

- Ability to create engaging and educational activities in various subjects such practical life, sensorial, language, art, math, and science
- Early Childhood Education License through EEC is required

-MACTE Certified (AMS or AMI) Montessori Certification is preferred

*Pay ranges from $23.50-$28 depending on level of certification and experience*
