Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


About Us:

Lincoln Electric is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as an Accounting Assistant. This role presents an excellent opportunity for growth and development for the right candidate. As part of our team, you will work closely with the Controller, providing support with various accounting and HR administrative tasks. Candidates must be willing to work onsite full-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Post cash transactions (ACH, credit card payments) and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Assist with entering invoices, resolving discrepancies, and issuing checks.
  • Initiate collections calls/emails.
  • Discuss with the Controller the status of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) aging on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare monthly analysis or aging reports for AR and AP.
  • Generate daily invoices.
  • Update and maintain customer and vendor profiles.
  • Review new customer setup forms, net terms, and required documents.
  • Create new vendors and customers in the ERP system.
  • Review and complete vendor applications.
  • Assist the Controller with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing entries and reports.
  • Perform other duties reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties assigned by the Controller.
  • Some HR duties and responsibilities; willingness to train.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting degree preferred (Bachelor's or Associate's).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Excellent follow-up skills with acute attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information and documents appropriately.
