Pay Range - $19 - $25 an hour

Qualifications:

·         Proven field service experience

·         Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment

·         English literacy

·         Must have a clean driving record

·         Good Communicator

·         Ability to pass a background check

·         Ability to pass a drug test

·         75%+ Travel

 

Responsibilities:

·         Field technician will need to ensure a high quality of customer service

·         Our goal is to minimize any client system downtime and exceed customer expectations by ensuring quality results in a timely manner

·         Required travel will be a mix of local, regional, and national

 

Job Description

·         Job consists of providing quarterly, annual, and emergency service maintenance to exterior security gates at working auto dealerships around the country

·         Trouble shooting issues

·         Repairing and servicing gates while ensuring quality and timeliness of service calls

·         Technicians should be able to work efficiently on their own with limited to no supervision

·         Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

·         Produce timely and detailed service reports

·         Document processes

·         Follow all company procedures and protocols

·         Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization

Leatherman Hughes Consulting is seeking a motivated Field Technician to provide maintenance and service on perimeter security systems and devices. These systems include hydraulic driven vehicle barriers, electro-mechanical drive systems, gates and gate operators, variable frequency drives, low voltage controls and some PLC controls.

The Field Technician will need to ensure a high quality of customer service. They must be able to diagnose systems and problem solve when given only non-technical descriptions provided by the customers and possess superb customer service skills. Training will be provided.

Our goal is to minimize any client system downtime and exceed customer expectations by ensuring quality results in a timely manner. Must be a good communicator and able to pass a background check.

Up to 50% travel. Required travel will be a mix of local, regional, and national.
