Responsibilities
  • Builds systems capability that reflects the highest state of technical sophistication consistent with the corporation's needs and budget.
  • Implements and maintains technical infrastructure, database systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that includes planning, conversions, training, proper testing/validation, and delivery.
  • Manage the development of programs from workflow charts or diagrams, considering factors such as computer storage capacity and speed, the extent of peripheral equipment, and the intended use of output data.
  • Analyze test runs on the computer to correct or direct correction of coded programs and input data.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries. Ensures security of the company's database and end-points cyber security.
  • Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.
  • Create infrastructure documentation and keep it up to date on a central documentation platform and Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
  • Consults with management to clarify systems and program's intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine the extent of application systems changes required.
  • Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
  • Maintain the IT asset database, and work with accounting staff to ensure all assets are capitalized and accounted for at all times.
  • Provide end-user support and training for all company applications and technology assets. Assist with training users on systems/processes and general computing best practices.
  • Assesses the needs of end-users, develops, documents SOPs, and provides end-user support on standardized, customized, or ad-hoc reports.
  • Examines and audits data for discrepancies, corrects errors, and reconciles data to ensure accuracy at various stages of data processing.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in IT or technology-related fields.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and computer hardware.
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL database and Crystal reports.
  • EDI administration.
