URGENTLY HIRING PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking two electrical helpers for a commercial project in Knoxville, TN. Apply now

The pay rate for this job is $19 - $21 / hour(DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic tasks including material handling, jobsite housekeeping, tool and equipment maintenance, and general labor.
  • Dig trenches and excavations using hand tools and power equipment under general supervision.
  • Assist in underground conduit installation.
  • Aid in mounting, securing, and installing electrical raceways, fixtures, and systems.
  • Support wire pulling procedures.
  • Assemble pre-fabricated systems under general supervision.
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Understand and follow jobsite directions and instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Model professional behavior in accordance with Stansell Electric's Core Values, Purpose, and Injury-Free safety guidelines.
  • Understand and perform other project-related duties and assignments as instructed by supervision.

 Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an electrical helper or vocational training in electrical work is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and use tools and equipment required for electrical work.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
