My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Engineering Project Manager to join its team. This individual will be responsible for managing plumbing engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of plumbing engineering projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project goals and client expectations are met.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design and implementation of plumbing systems.
- Review and approve design documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
- Communicate project status, updates, and any issues to clients in a clear and timely manner.
- Address client concerns and provide solutions to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project integration.
- Lead project meetings and facilitate communication between all project participants.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and project team members.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry codes.
- Manage project documentation and reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Plumbing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in plumbing engineering, with at least 3 years in project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing plumbing engineering projects.
Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
