Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills are required, as well as prior use of an ERP system such as QuickBooks, Oracle/NetSuite, or Great Plains is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overview of accounts payable and receivables processing
  • Examine accounting records for the entire department, checking for accuracy
  • Maintenance of the general ledger (and subledgers), including the posting and adjusting of journal entries
  • Act as a key player in the month-end close process
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
  • Prepare financial statements for reporting to upper leadership
  • Conduct research and analysis relating to projects in relation to routine audit

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 6 months to 1+ years' experience in a full cycle accounting operations role
  • GAAP background
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team-player, ability to work well with other departments and individuals
