We are seeking a skilled and experienced I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical) Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The I&E Designer will be responsible for developing detailed design drawings and specifications for instrumentation and electrical systems in various industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in I&E design, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Senior I&E Designer Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed instrumentation and controls designs for oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Create electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as instrument loop diagrams, utilizing industry-standard software
  • Utilize SPPID, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Plant 3D software for design and drafting tasks
  • Conduct thorough reviews and checks of design drawings to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and drafters as needed
Senior I&E Designer Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
  • 4 years of experience in instrumentation and controls design, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Proficiency in electrical and hydraulic schematics design
  • Experience with SPPID, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Plant 3D software is necessary
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to instrumentation and controls design
