Oiles America Corporation, an innovator in self-lubricating bearing technologies, is seeking a Project Manager for our North Carolina facility. Reporting to the Department Manager of Sales and Marketing, the Program Manager is an integral part of Oiles America Corporation’s business systems. Are you the one we are looking for?

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience with traditional program management tools is preferred: MS project, Sharepoint, MS Teams, and the Office 365 suite of products.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • 2-5yr experience working with program management and structured teams
  • ERP system familiarity (e.g. SAP) is a plus.
  • Automotive quality management system experience (e.g. IATF 16949, APQP, etc.) is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work with little supervision.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills. Environment involves minimal supervision and product line team autonomy is strongly encouraged.
  • Current environment will require significant hands-on effort. Infrastructure size varies depending on product line. Multi-functional efforts are often required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and lead teams. OILES product line teams consist of a very wide range of expertise. Must interface well with all associates and demonstrate
  • Exceptional diplomacy and leadership skills.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and build organized and focused product line teams.
  • Using proven program management experience and best practice methods, establish robust processes and metrics that motivate and drive continuous improvement and revenue and income growth.
  • Coordinate heavily with sales and help develop business identity and focus resources to rapidly expand profitable new business.
  • Lead all active business projects with measurable complexity. Leadership of mature activities, such as catalog orders, will be only a minor requirement.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • With product line team quality resources leading, co-lead quality assurance activities to ensure product quality expectations are satisfied.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
