Liquid Coating Laboratory Technician

Cardinal is looking for candidates to join our liquid coating laboratory team as entry level laboratory technicians. The laboratory technician’s main responsibility is to create laboratory scale product matches to meet customers' requirements. This position exists to provide product samples to customers to support our sales effort. All laboratory technicians work under the guidance and supervision of laboratory management.
Responsibilities
• Complete laboratory batches per customer requirements as listed on sample request
• Use balance to accurately weigh batch raw materials
• Complete physical property testing on samples
• With guidance, tint colors and adjust formulas for gloss and texture
• Complete required paperwork associated with laboratory samples
• Other duties deemed appropriate by supervisor or manager
Requirements
• A high school diploma or higher preferred
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills
• Good Math skills
• Able to work alone or as a team as needed
• Able to follow direction and verbal or written requests and instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Able to stand for long period.
• Follow company safety policies
