Location: South San Francisco, CA
Compensation: $20-35/hr
Type: 6 month temporary position
Key Responsibilities- Aseptically fill sterile liquid transfer devices.
- Prepare cell culture media, reagents, and buffers in a sterile environment.
- Prepare assay samples and reagents for testing purposes.
- Conduct routine maintenance of laboratory equipment, including daily checks and periodic cleaning.
- Cryopreserve cell samples utilizing a controlled rate freezer (CRF).
- Manage and maintain the inventory of laboratory reagents and materials.
- Perform cell line maintenance, including culturing and passaging of various cell types.
- Execute routine cell counts and viability assessments using a cell counter.
- Document data accurately in designated formats.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP), assisting in quality record-keeping as necessary.
- Support process improvement initiatives across manufacturing and development environments.
- Ability to gown in and out of a cleanroom environment.
- Proficient knowledge of aseptic techniques.
- Experience in preparing sterile cell culture media.
- Background in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Suite applications.
- Capability to follow instructions for basic laboratory tasks.
- Understanding of GMP documentation requirements.
- Availability for late shifts or weekend work.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
