LOD is currently seeking a contract eDiscovery Project Manager for a hybrid-on site opportunity in New York City

 

This role is expected to last through the rest of this calendar year with a high likelihood of extension. The pay rate for this role will range from $55-80/hour based on experience.

 

Candidates must be able to start shortly after interview and selection by the client. Candidates must be able to display strong written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and confidence in their work performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Expertise with the Relativity suite,
  • Daily knowledge of typical eDiscovery PM tasks, including but not limited to:

o Management of all database related functions

o Administering Relativity Software and support attorney’s use of Relativity

o Working closely with IT to maintain databases and update software as required

o Create databases and respond to the needs of department management, legal teams, or clients

o Carry out day-today database maintenance, reporting and related document and electronic evidence collection administration, as directed or assigned.

o Work to accurately and efficiently ensure the timely flow and on-line availability of document and electronic evidence collections, as well as the quality of database content and associated document images on all matters throughout the region.

o Provide consultation to all offices concerning ESI for collections, processing, review and production.

o Work with attorneys, staff, clients, etc. to document evidentiary materials related to cases

o Assist with collection of documents in both hard copy and electronic form.

o Assist and coordinate document production where needed

o Maintain a strong understanding of key concepts of electronic discovery and the EDRM model

o Retrieve and manipulate data within SQL or MS Access

o Create reports to track electronic discovery processing and production

o Technical assistance

  • Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) Certification is a huge plus but not required.
  • Relativity Certification(s) highly desired.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in related roles.

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software with a strong emphasis in Excel and Word.
  • Proven ability to learn and work with new software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced, highly productive environment.
  • Experience working with external customers.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery and litigation processes required.
  • Experience with writing queries and knowledge of general database structure within SQL is preferred but not required.
  • Proven skills in multi-tasking, time management, and working independently are a must.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate superior organizational skills and possess a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and work well in a team environment.

 

 

 

LOD offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
