Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our shipping processes. This position involves handling domestic, international, marketing, dealer, and direct orders, and requires proficiency in FEDEX and UPS shipping software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify and screen orders to ensure accuracy
• Pull parts from warehouse based on pick lists
• Pack shipments securely and according to guidelines
• Record shipping data accurately using designated software (e.g., Worldship, Ship Manager)
• Prepare shipping documents including labels, invoices, and bills of lading
• Adhere to DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping areas
• Assist in maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness
• Operate reach trucks and pickers after completing required training

Minimum Requirements:

• Organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
• Basic math, reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English
• Ability to understand and follow oral instructions
• Capable of standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and bending for extended periods
• Willingness to adapt to new processes and procedures
• Competency in basic computer skills
• Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma preferred; GED accepted
• Minimum of 3 months previous shipping or relevant experience required

Work Environment: This is a full-time position on the first shift (Monday through Friday) in a warehouse environment. Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.
