Shipping Clerk 45093
7am-3:30pm weekdays

This position is responsible to ensure accuracy of all domestic, international, marketing, dealer and direct orders that are shipped out. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in shipments and customer service by verifying correct quantities and products on orders, keeping accurate shipping information, preparing documents and adhering to the regulations of the Department of Transportation (DOT, IATA, and IMO) all while ensuring safety and cleanliness in all shipping areas. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify and screen orders
  • Pull parts from picklist in warehouse
  • Pack shipments using a pick list
  • Record shipping data accurately; according to requirements
  • Use Shipping software (Worldship, Ship Manager, etc.)
  • Prepare required shipping documents such as: shipping labels, invoices, bills of lading
  • Adhere to the regulations of DOT, IATA, IMO
  • Use reach truck and picker after finishing required training

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant shipping clerk experience 
  • Experience using FEDEX and UPS shipping software required
  • Must be able to stand, lift (up to 50lbs), and bend for an 8 + hour shift
  • Must be able to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
  • High School Diploma preferred, GED accepted.
