Position : Journeyman/Master Electrician
Location : West Allis, WI(On-site) 
Duration : Full time & Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect wiring within buildings to ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes.
  • Service outdoor power lines and poles.
  • Evaluate electrical systems to diagnose issues in wiring or circuits.
  • Repair any issues within electrical systems.
  • Install and connect circuit breakers, electrical switches, and outlets.
  • Install new lights, appliances, and security systems.
  • Read blueprint plans to install electrical systems in new buildings.
  • Supervise and train apprentice electricians, serving as a mentor.
  • Maintain material and labor records.
  • Keep track of inventory and order new parts as needed.
  • Provide customers with estimates for electrical work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid journeyman electrician license.
  • Proven experience as a journeyman electrician.
  • Strong technical skills with expert knowledge of electrical codes and systems.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, carry heavy equipment, and navigate small spaces.
  • Excellent organizational skills for maintaining records and inventory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
  • High attention to detail to ensure safety and compliance with codes.
  • Effective communication skills for working with customers, apprentices, and supervisors.
  • Ability to mentor and train apprentice electricians.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in specific industries such as automotive, technology, or construction.
  • Familiarity with modern electrical tools and technologies.
  • Ability to provide accurate estimates and manage project costs.
