ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE – SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA
WEBCO HR, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate for one of our clients located in Sacramento, California.
SUMMARY
Will provide accounting and administrative support for the office of a family owned and operated construction company with approximately forty employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accounts payable.
· Accounts receivable invoicing, billing, and collections including printing checks.
· Processing of in-house payroll.
· Bank reconciliations.
· Credit card reconciliations.
· Preparing budgets.
· Update Quick books with all Accounting Transactions (Approx. 250 / week).
· Reconcile and balance bank accounts.
· File all client related documents and maintain Client Files.
· Update Sub-Contractor Database and Insurance Certificates.
· Prepare & Make Deposits in Bank (Post Deposits to QB).
· Cost Code All invoices.
· Issue any Checks required.
· Generate Invoices and follow up on all collections.
· Provide Invoices to clients to obtain payment (Board Up / Commercial / Insurance / Sometimes Residential).
· Generate Statements to Clients.
· Correspond with clients as needed on accounting matters.
· Enter Job Estimates in QuickBooks.
· Reconcile Vendor & Client Accounts in QuickBooks.
· Enter Deposits in QuickBooks.
· Enter Invoices into QuickBooks.
· Generate Bi-Weekly Payroll Reports in QuickBooks.
· Generate Monthly Financial reports in QuickBooks.
· Run Bi-weekly Payroll & Generate reports & Filings in QuickBooks.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· College degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
· 3-5 years of general accounting experience.
· 3-5 years of general office administration experience.
· Experience with QuickBooks accounting software including the payroll module.
· Must have experience working with standard business software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
· Must have the ability to work with little supervision.
· Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and responsible.
· Must have the ability to work in a high volume fast paced office environment.
· Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
· Very organized and detail oriented with exceptional time management skills.
COMPENSATION:
• $66,560 Annual Salary
