The Industrial Room Operator will be responsible for operating packaging machines to produce acceptable, quality product. Our client is a well-known manufacturing company in Belen, NM. This is a great work environment and potential temporary to hire opportunity. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 

1st Shift: 5AM-3:30PM (Mon. – Th.) or (Tues. – Friday) must be able to work OT during week and some weekends - Pay $18.50

2nd shift: 3:30PM – 2AM (Mon. – Th.) or (Tues. -Friday) must be able to work OT during week and some weekends - Pay 19.50

Duties:

 Run production machinery

·         Ensure proper packaging, labeling and quality of product

·         Meet production quantity standards

·         Accurately fill out production forms as required

·         Check product for quality in accordance with order specifications before and during production

·         Load paper onto production machines

·         Maintain housekeeping in department areas as needed

·         Abide by all safety rules and regulations

·         Must be able to stand on feet long periods of time

·         Housekeeping is a big part of the position

·         Must be able to lift to 30+ lbs.

·         Must be capable of climbing up 6 step ladders

·         Must be able to do overtime and on weekends when needed

·         Other duties as required.
