About Us

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team in our Baton Rouge and Houma offices. This role involves collaborating with Senior-Level managers on various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed. Other duties include supervising each subcontractor to ensure that work meets quality standards and adheres to specifications.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare project proposals.
  • Manage projects to completion accurately and efficiently according to scope, specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Identifies delivery concerns early, including source, and generally has a corrective action plan ready.
  • Develop and enforce communication protocols for project personnel.
  • Ensures record-keeping procedures are in place and followed by the project team.
  • Effectively controls costs through economical utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

Here’s What You Need

Education:

  • High school diploma required.

Certification and License(s):

Valid Drivers’ license

  • Experience: Over five years up to and including twelve years of experience in managing, planning, and/or projects of moderate complexity and scale.

Supervision:

  • The work requires managing and monitoring employee performance, including evaluating project objectives and effectiveness, establishing broad project goals, and realigning work and staffing assignments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of how to prepare contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to execute the terms of contracts.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently and within budget.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project.
  • Ability to understand and follow Royal’s Project Management Handbook.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to acclimate to project management software or related software.
