We are accepting applications for a Human Resources Coordinator within our Human Resource Department.

General Position Summary:

Provides support to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Generalist will perform a variety of human resource-related duties assigned to recruitment, onboarding, internal communication, performance evaluation, disseminating policy, employment compliance issues, benefits and leave of absences.

Essential Functions/Duties/Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruiting and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Post job openings, screen candidates, set up interviews, make offers to candidates and provide onboarding.
  • Handle all benefits including open enrollment, new hire enrollment and answering benefit related questions. Administer all 401k requests and enrollments.
  • Advising employees on their leave entitlements, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, SDI, the policies and benefits, and return to work accommodations. Respond and accurately process EDD and State Disability claims.
  • Assist with workers compensation claims including tracking injuries and loss time.
  • Administer and maintain compliance with performance appraisal reviews.
  • Systematically assist with scheduling and offering periodic mandatory training.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Two years or more Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • One year in a high growth Production or Manufacturing environment working in Human Resources.
  • Requires bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills necessary.
  • Will receive on-the-job training for some essential functions and job skills.

Salary range: $25.00 - $35.00 BOE
