Job Description: Drafter (Sheet Metal)

Location: Greenville, SC

Duration: Full time/Direct Hire

Compensation: $25-32/hr or more

Shift: Day shift – Flexible schedule (On-site)

Job Duties:

·         Prepare the overall project drawing for approval by the client

·         Prepare manufacturing drawings

·         Generate laser cutting files

·         Produce drawings and sketches for fabrication and installation

·         Actively participate in the design of the various sections of the project (building mechanics, HVAC)

·         Prepare BOM for the purchasing department

·         Review, inspect, and correct drawing package before production release

·         Assist with engineering/quality tasks, data tracking, and product inspection

 

Education:

·         Training in Industrial or Building Drafting or equivalent

·         1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position

·         Knowledge of SolidWorks or 3D drawing

·         Knowledge of AutoCad 2D software is an asset

·         Knowledge of REVIT software is an asset

·         Knowledge of manufacturing processes

·         Good knowledge of MS Office suite

·         Knowledge and experience with sheet metal (asset)
