An international manufacturing company is seeking an Industrial Drafter in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate enjoys designing custom building projects, making sheet metal drawings, collaborating with a team on large-scale projects, and problem solving on the shop floor. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within drafting long-term.
This is a direct hire, fully onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the overall project drawing for approval by the client
- Prepare manufacturing drawings
- Generate laser cutting files
- Produce drawings and sketches for fabrication and installation
- Actively participate in the design of the various sections of the project (building mechanics, HVAC)
- Prepare BOM for the purchasing department
- Review, inspect, and correct drawing package before production release
- Assist with engineering/quality tasks, data tracking, and product inspection
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Experienced with sheet metal desired
- Experience in Solidworks desired
- Working knowledge of Autocad 2D and REVIT software
