Position Overview: Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a prominent manufacturer in the Stokesdale, NC area and they are currently hiring for the Production Line Lead position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production line, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality. The Production Line Lead will play a crucial role in meeting production goals, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and troubleshooting machinery issues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Leadership:

    • Lead and supervise production line staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
    • Set clear expectations for the team and provide guidance to achieve daily production targets.

  2. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to production efficiency, quality, and safety.
    • Implement strategies to improve KPI metrics and meet or exceed set goals.

  3. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement on the production line.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  4. Production Goals:

    • Work closely with the production planning team to ensure production goals are met on time and within budget.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes.

  5. Machinery Troubleshooting:

    • Oversee the maintenance and operation of production machinery.
    • Troubleshoot machinery issues, coordinating with maintenance teams for prompt resolution.

  6. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:

    • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of problems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement improvements.
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
