Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a leading manufacturer in Stokesdale, NC, seeking a Production Line Lead. This pivotal role involves overseeing the production line, ensuring efficiency, and upholding quality standards. The Production Line Lead will be instrumental in achieving production targets, driving continuous improvement, and addressing machinery issues.

Shift: 2nd or 3rd (Direct hire with full benefits)

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise production line staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
  • Establish clear expectations and provide guidance to meet daily production goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to production efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Develop strategies to enhance KPI metrics and achieve or surpass objectives.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement on the production line.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Production Goals:

  • Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely and budget-conscious goal attainment.
  • Devise strategies to optimize production processes for efficiency.

Machinery Troubleshooting:

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of production machinery.
  • Address machinery issues and liaise with maintenance teams for swift resolution.

Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:

  • Conduct root cause analysis for production challenges.
  • Implement corrective measures to forestall problem recurrence.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a production setting.
  • Proficient understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and improvement implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on root cause analysis.
