  • Shift: 8am to 4:30pm , Monday through Friday

Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Payroll Clerk. In this position, you will be responsible for timekeeping, approving payroll, reporting, daily timekeeping, employee tracking, and more. Working knowledge of various labor compliance requirements within the construction or related industry.

Required Construction Payroll Administrator Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Time Keeping, payroll reporting & uploading (approval confirming)
  • Correct the hours for general contractor and subcontractor.
  • Analyzes and enforces compliance with prevailing wage rate requirements.
  • Compliance & fringe benefits regulations on public works projects with general contractor labor compliance monitors.
  • Ability to read through contracts for project compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience with payroll processing.
  • Computer Skills: proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Effective and professional communication skills.
  • Problem solving and organization skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work on tight deadlines and take responsibility for meeting those deadlines.
  • Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a “can do” attitude.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willing and able to cross train and take on a variety of tasks as needed.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to start.
