Summary

We are driven to find the most talented Sales Account Executive who strives to provide the best customer sales experience possible. Using your creative and innovative construction knowledge and sales skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a personal approach, you will assist our clients in creating the enhanced scope of work for their individual needs for kitchen and bath renovations they envision.

 

Primary Duties

  • Solicit new accounts and prospect for new projects.
  • Hunt for and generate leads by various search methods such as networking events, internet mining & searching (Google, etc.), using lead generation services, associations, etc.
  • Prospect by phone, email, text, and social media.
  • Nature prospects with creative and thoughtful follow up.
  • Develop relationships with clients and focus on generating future referral business.
  • Travel to clients’ properties or homes to assist in the design kitchens, bathrooms, room additions, and/or remodel projects.
  • Brainstorm creative design plans and prospective ideas together.
  • Provide product recommendations and educate clients in materials, finishes, and fixtures.
  • Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and present design proposals for remodeling projects.
  • Conduct on-site visits to take photos, measurements, perform inspections, and assess existing layouts.
  • Train and support a Business Development Assistant to design, sell, and contribute to reach company goals.
  • Track daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals and opportunities and their relationship to hit margin goals.

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the customer, estimators and production teams and material vendors.
  • Learn the warranty policies of all items sold and be able to order such items when requested.
  • Review assigned accounts to ensure payments and credits are processed in an accurate and timely manner while keeping all information highly confidential.
  • Attend industry networking events and stay updated on current design trends and industry advancements.

 

Background Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of relationship sales and/or customer service experience required.
  • Knowledge of construction design, kitchen & bathroom renovation, flooring, siding, roofing or any other building product sales experience advantageous, but not a necessity (i.e.-kitchen cabinet materials, countertop products, cultured marble, sinks, and faucets).
  • Versed in kitchen renovation processes, cabinet design, product offerings, trends, materials, color, finishes, and related vendors.
  • Excellent time management skills in planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Follow up with customers, estimating team, and other vendor partners to ensure the proposal is completed in a timely manner.
  • Clear, professional communication skills (verbal & written) and excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Possess an extremely high commitment to customer satisfaction and high sense of self-responsibility.

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, & Excel.
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements, cost calculations, and gross profit.
  • Ability to negotiate, close deals, and achieve sales goals.
  • Proficiency with CRM management systems.
  • Ability and willingness to drive long distances for appointments, if necessary.
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean and clear driving record.

 

Education

  • BA in Marketing/Management/Communications or equivalent work experience.

 

Other

  • Monday – Friday, usually 9:00am-5:00pm (weekends or night networking events, if necessary)
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods of time, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must pass a background check and/or drug test.
