Responsibilities:

  • Running low voltage Cat5/5e/6/6a cable and fiber optic cable in school environment
  • Terminating Jacks, 110 blocks and 66 blocks for various types of cable included Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6a and multi-pair cable.
  • Installation and full build out of IT rooms, rack mounted equipment, floor mounted and freestanding racks, data centers, cable tray systems, surface mounted raceways, and much, much more. Installing IT systems like network equipment, wireless access points in residential and hotel settings, intercoms, sound masking systems, call systems, time clocks, and more.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience with low-voltage cabling
  • Experience in installing & troubleshooting: Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat6e, etc..., low-voltage cable, multi-pair cable, fiber optic cabling, and IDF room / rack equipment.
  • Problem Solving various cabling issues (e.g. faulty wiring, termination problems, patch-panel, and more)
  • Have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Salary: From $22 -$30 per hour

Schedule: 5am

8 hour shift
