Job DescriptionJob Description

Minimum (5-7) years of Low Voltage work experience with structured cable, Fiber Optics, Data, Intrusion, access Control, Fire Alarm, Video Surveillance and Public Address Systems.

Ability to lead and monitor two to four- team members and ability to teach installation techniques.

Ability to read and understand low voltage, security drawings and specifications.

Proficient in monitoring cable / parts for projects.

Create daily reports and RFI's as it pertains to the projects and submit to management.

Have excellent verbal, written communication and critical thinking skills.

Proficient in basic computer applications, I.E, Microsoft Office, Excel, Etc.

Preferred but not required BISCI technician Level 1 certification.

Terminate and test cable systems; Test devices and analyze results for proper performance.

Use a variety of cable test equipment.

Integrate access control, security, and video surveillance systems.

All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
