General Labor

This is a part-time position that can turn into a full-time position.

We are looking for a Groundworker to join our team You will be responsible for many basic tasks to aid in a team providing mainly tree work and some landscape style jobs. On-the-job training will be provided as needed. Work days vary from 6hrs-10hours depending on the job.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, love working outdoors, willing to learn, and able to communicate well while working with others.

The equipment we use and you will be working around our tracked lift, chipper, stump grinder, small wheel loader, trucks, trailers, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Fueling equipment and tools as needed
  • Loading trucks with the tools needed for jobs, as instructed
  • Raking, picking up branches/sticks, using backpack blowers to clean up yard debris
  • Moving debris on the job site (Must be able to lift 50-75lbs)
  • Driving pickup truck and trailer to job site, will train as needed
  • Working in various weather conditions, including hot and cold. Rarely do we work in the rain
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the workday
  • Basic maintenance tasks as needed will train as necessary

​Qualifications:

  • Previous tree work experience is a big plus, but not required
  • Must have a clean driving history and hold a valid driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Experience driving with a trailer is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with working longer days outside is preferred
  • Ability to follow directions from owner/ team lead
