**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and passionate nail technician to join our team as a Commission Nail Technician at Itzel Pretty Nail Bar. You will be responsible for providing exceptional nail care services to our clients. Your expertise and creativity will contribute to our salon's reputation for excellence in nail care.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Nail Care Services:** Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, gel nails, nail art, and other nail enhancements according to client preferences and industry standards.

2. **Client Consultation:** Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their nail care needs, preferences, and any special considerations or requests.

3. **Nail Health and Safety:** Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene standards, according to State Board, to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and professionals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.

4. **Product Knowledge:** Stay updated on the latest nail care products, trends, and techniques. Recommend appropriate products and treatments to clients based on their individual needs.

5. **Customer Service:** Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Follow through with any client requests or concerns.

6. **Sales and Upselling:** Promote salon products and services to clients and actively upsell additional treatments or products to enhance their overall experience and satisfaction.

7. **Appointment Scheduling:** Manage appointment bookings efficiently, ensuring that appointments are scheduled appropriately to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

8. **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate with other salon staff to ensure a seamless and cohesive client experience. Teamwork makes the dream work

9. **Continuing Education:** Pursue ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and stay abreast of industry developments and trends.

**Qualifications:**

1. **Nail Technician License:** Must possess a valid nail technician license or certification from a recognized cosmetology school or licensing board.

2. **Experience:** Previous experience working as a nail technician in a professional environment is appreciated. No salon experience is necessary.

3. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in a wide range of nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, gel nails, and nail art. Knowledge of current nail care techniques and trends. A willingness to learn new techniques and trends.

4. **Customer Focus:** Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.

5. **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

6. **Sales Skills:** Ability to confidently promote salon products and upsell additional services to clients.

7. **Team Player:** Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Compensation:**

This position is commission-based, with compensation determined by the volume of services performed and any additional products or treatments sold. Commission rates will be discussed during the interview process.
