Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide general oversight of clinical service delivery for Mental Health service lines.  This includes face-to-face sessions relative to an individual’s assessments, admissions, treatment plan development and implementation, treatment plan modification and discharge planning. 
  • Review progress notes 
  • Manage process for new referrals, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Conduct ISP/Quarterly reviews 
  • Complete Discharge Summaries 
  • Maintain a minimum caseload providing individual, group counseling, assessment, and/or crisis intervention to adults and families who are experiencing psychological, or adjustment difficulties or problems related to substance use.   
  • 12 billable hours weekly 
  • Complete clinical metrics (SAR – Approvals and Denials) 
  • Conduct and/or review and cosign (fully licensed only) all assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans within 24 hours of development or prior to the initiation of treatment. 
  • Submit Service Authorization Requests (SAR) to identify MCOs to express clinical and medical necessity for requested services. 
  • Participate in peer-to-peer reviews with identified MCO, if required 
  • Conduct collaborative sessions with individuals and QMHP’s to facilitate the completion of treatment plans and quarterly reviews.  
  • Assist in oversight of the quantitative and qualitative record review process for individual files, assurance of compliance with contract, accreditation, and licensure expectations and standards. 
  • Inform staff of changes in policy and procedures as needed. 
  • Manage and monitor temporary housing options and finances associated with those resources.  
  • Demonstrate effective knowledge of Epic Health Partners’ services and build partnerships with potential stakeholders. 
  • Attend, lead, and participate in meetings as requested. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) as outlined in the Confidentiality Agreement. 
  • Travel to other locations as required and provides safe transportation according to EPIC’s policies and guidelines as needed to perform job duties. 
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
