We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Office Staff Accountant II to join our team. The Family Office Staff Accountant II will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting needs of high-net-worth individuals and their families, including managing financial statements, assisting in preparing tax returns, and providing financial analysis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports for high-net-worth individuals and their families.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Coordinate the filing of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Perform financial analysis and create financial models to help inform decision-making.
  • Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and investment portfolios.
  • Assist with the execution of key projects spanning many strategic areas including investments, estate planning, taxes, philanthropy, Art, and physical asset management.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax and legal reporting regulations and requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to high-net-worth individuals and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a family office or wealth management environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
