We are currently seeking motivated and customer-focused Furniture and/or Appliance Sales Associates to join our team in North Lima, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assist them in finding the perfect furniture pieces to suit their needs and style preferences
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions
  • Demonstrate features and benefits of furniture products, highlighting quality, durability, and design aesthetics
  • Assist customers with fabric and finish selections, coordinating pieces, and creating cohesive room designs
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment, including arranging displays and restocking merchandise
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture or home furnishings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Knowledge of interior design principles and furniture trends (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
