What’s a typical day as a Team Lead?
- Leading a team of hourly colleagues in a test and assembly manufacturing environment.
- Overseeing departmental goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Employee Development.
- Resolving production problems and conducting performance evaluations.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving safety and 6S programs.
- Identifying and solving equipment issues and conducting routine preventative maintenance.
- Installing and qualifying new Scanning Electron Microscope capital test equipment.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience operating a Scanning Electron Microscope and troubleshooting electronic equipment OR a combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of a 2-year associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- Experience in low volume, highly complex manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated ability in successfully leading a team.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in operating Scanning Electron Microscopes and repairing high-tech equipment.
- Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
