Job title: Mortgage Associate

Location: Hopkins, MN

Duration: 3 months + Possible extension

Pay rate: $15 - $15.90/hour

 

Responsibilities:

Accept, review, verify and process collateral packages for Mortgage Warehouse customers to secure warehouse lines of credit. Input Data of collateral on the tracking system. File new and ship shipped collateral and retrieve collateral for shipping to investors. Review, research and clear exceptions.
Performs routine clerical or job data entry functions within mortgage operations or servicing departments.

Sorts and files correspondence, loan documents and other records in alphabetic or numerical order or according to a specific loan.

Retrieves archived files.

Processes paperwork, gathers and verifies data and transfers data into a standard format.

Generates correspondence and routine reports, answers incoming telephone calls, responds to routine customer inquiries, and performs a variety of clerical duties


Additional Details:

Performance metrics. Volume of work produced meets expectations of percentage between 13% and 21% for Hopkins.

Performance/Quality Contribution: CBCR ensures work tasks are processed error free between 97% and 99.5% and limits the number of Repeat and High-Risk findings
Candidate will interact with other US Bank employees face to face.

Skills
Preferred 2 to 3 years banking and/or mortgage banking experience. Proven ability to work in a high-pressure deadline environment. Typing or data entry skills and proficiency in Word and Excel. We will provide training on the ProMerit system.

Required: General knowledge of loan processing. Demonstrated teamwork experience.
