Overview of the Full Charge Bookkeeper Role: As a Full Charge Bookkeeper with our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounting functions, from accounts payable and receivable to financial reporting and analysis. This role requires a high level of expertise in bookkeeping principles and practices, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial operations and contribute to its growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements, including US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Communicate financial information and insights to internal stakeholders and provide support as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a full charge bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices, as well as familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
