Job Title: Learning Support Coach

Position Type: Part-time, 16 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $16

Hours M-TH 11-3

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and Ensures Safety of Children: Supervise children during learning activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  • Encourages Child-Led Learning: Foster an environment where children explore and learn at their own pace.

  • Guidance and Support: Provide individualized guidance and support to help children overcome challenges.

  • Establishes Routines: Create consistent routines for transitioning between activities and maintaining a tidy environment.

  • Contributes to Youth Development: Support the overall development of youth by promoting positive behaviors and social skills.

  • Positive Role Model: Be a positive influence and role model for children.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • First Aid/CPR Certification: Willingness to obtain or already certified.

  • Clean Background Check: Must pass a background check.

  • Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years old.

 

Preferred:

  • Flexibility: Ability to work additional shifts as a substitute when needed.

  • Experience with Children: Prior experience working with children.

  • Additional Skills: Proficiency in a skill such as bilingualism, music, art, or other talents that can enhance the classroom environment.
