Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Construction Sales Representative with at least 2 years of sales experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, a strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Inside Construction Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients, and closing sales deals. This position offers a 7% commission-based compensation structure, providing you with unlimited earning potential based on your sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities within the construction industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including contractors, architects, engineers, and construction companies.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Present product demonstrations and conduct sales presentations to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for maximizing sales growth and profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using our CRM system.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
