Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual as our part-time Operations Assistant for primarily data entry duties. This position works to support the Operations team procure, fulfill, and support orders for academic, public and government libraries all over the world with foreign-language books, movies, atlases, etc.

Duties:
  • Data entry of books, atlases, and other materials using established standards
  • Uploading and updating data in East View’s internal product database
  • Scanning of documents for cataloging personnel
  • Data searches and internet research
  • Assisting with serial binding project
  • Provide professional internal customer service and problem resolution as needed
Requirements:
  • Intermediate or higher knowledge of a Slavic language (Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Serbian, etc.)
  • Intermediate or higher English knowledge
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Quick and accurate typing and word processing skills
  • Adaptable to changing priorities
  • Tolerance to repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency or near fluency in Ukrainian or Russian
  • Fluency in English
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
Workplace Detail
  • This is an onsite position located in Minnetonka MN near Hopkins Crossroads/Hwy 394
  • This position would comprise of 15-25 hours per week, with some flexibility (hours will fall between 9-5, Monday-Friday).
