Arrow Glass Industries, a residential, multi-family, commercial glass company is looking for a candidate to join the team We are looking to hire an Installer to install commercial units.

Responsibilities:

·         Daily attendance as well as being punctual is required. - Have and

maintain a valid Driver's License and good driving record as you may be driving company vehicles to job sites.

·         Fabricate and install Aluminum Storefront, Curtain Wall, Doors, Hardware, Mirrors and glass in windows

·         Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions

·         Install glass using various techniques such as glazing, caulking, and sealing

·         Repair or replace damaged glass or frames

·         Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation

·         Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when working with glass

Skills:

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Heavy lifting: Capable of lifting and maneuvering large glass panels and

frames

·         Ability to read and comprehend blueprints/specifications. - Proficient in

fabrication and knowledge of the differences in manufacturer's materials

·         Knowledge of hand tools: Proficiency with tools such as saws, drills, and

measuring devices and Tape Measures - Experience in installing fixtures such as mirrors, shower doors, and glass partitions

·         Versatility in performing various tasks related to glazing, including minor repairs and maintenance

·         Ability to work with metal to create frames for glass installations

·         Building skills: Understanding of building codes and regulations related to glazing work

This position requires attention to detail, physical strength, and the

ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent

communication skills are also essential for collaborating with clients and other construction professionals.
