POSITION:              RESIDENT/ MAINTENANCE WORKER

 

HOURS:                  MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY - 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM,

                                40 HOURS PER WEEK (½ HOUR FOR LUNCH)

                                BE AVAILABLE BEFORE AND AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS IN

                                EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY SUCH AS SNOW, FIRE, FLOODS ETC.

           

RESPOND BEFORE AND AFTER HOURS TO ANY EMERGENCY CALL FROM RESIDENTS. ON CALL IS EVERY OTHER WEEK AND EVERY OTHER HOLIDAY                       

REQUIREMENTS: 

 

·         KEEP A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

·         WEAR THE COMPANY SUPPLIED UNIFORM

·         BE ABLE TO OPERATE HEAVY EQUIPMENT

·         CARRY AND LIFT UP TO 80 LBS

·         LIFT, INSTALL AND REMOVE HEAVY APPLIANCES

·         ABILITY TO PERFORM ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, CARPENTRY, MASONARY CERAMIC AND TILE FLOOR REPAIRS

·         ABILITY  FOR SIMPLE APPLIANCE AND HEAT/AIR CONDITONING REPAIRS

·         MAINTAIN A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

                                 

·         Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy

·         Perform maintenance repairs in occupied apartments

·         Perform general building maintenance functions

·         Maintain pool pumps and filters and pool grounds

·         Shovel snow from walks, steps and all necessary areas

·         Operate snow removal and landscaping machinery such as snow blowers

·         Clean grounds, apartments and all areas of garbage and debris

·         Lift and move heavy appliances, such as refrigerators, stoves, air conditioners, washers, dryers, dishwasher etc.

·         Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with a variety of tasks
