THEN THIS IS THE CAREER YOU'RE LOOKING FOR

Kline Electric is looking for a few Commercial Electrician Apprentices in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will work under experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and training in commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial electrical systems.
  • Learn to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
  • Install wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate work records and materials used.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools.
  • Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Good physical condition for lifting and working in various environments.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with effective communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous electrical experience or coursework.
  • Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
