Looking for a driver in or near Alameda, CA

Route Details: 12:00pm (Noon) - 7:00pm

Days a week - Saturday, Sunday

Position Details:
14 hrs a week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Position Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)

  • Daily inspections of equipment.
  • Inform dispatch/field supervisor of vehicle needs (supplies, maintenance, washing, etc.)
  • Transport passengers to/from pre-determined locations. This includes: Greeting and assisting riders, Communicating various stops or other vital information along the route
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Communicating any issues to the in-house dispatch hotline
Responsibilities and Duties for our Drivers:

  • CDL Bus Drivers must follow all State/Federal, DOT, & FMCSA laws, rules/regulations
  • CDL Bus Driver performs and documents safety/maintenance inspections (pre/post-trip)
  • CDL Bus Driver maintains a sharp appearance to convey a professional image, driving style, and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt to different makes/models of buses and different routes
Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 25 years old
  • Valid Commercial Drivers' License, with passenger endorsement
  • 3-year work experience as a Commercial Driver
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug test
  • Must be willing to consent to a background check
  • No Major accidents/tickets or reckless driving charges in the last three years
  • Current DOT Physical/Medical Certification

What do We do?

The routes are serviced in different commercial vehicle types, ranging from Sprinter Vans to F550 Shuttles, including ADA-compliant ones
