As a Design Sales Associate working in our mobile flooring showroom, you will have the opportunity to showcase your design skills, build lasting relationships with clients, and contribute to the success of our flooring company. Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain the mobile flooring showroom, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with a wide range of flooring samples.
2. Travel to client locations, including residential homes, commercial spaces, and construction sites, to showcase our flooring products and assist clients in making informed decisions.
3. Provide expert advice and guidance on flooring options, including materials, colors, patterns, and installation methods, based on clients' needs, preferences, and budget.
4. Collaborate with clients to understand their design vision and recommend suitable flooring solutions that align with their style and functional requirements.
5. Measure and assess the area where the flooring will be installed to accurately estimate the quantity of materials needed and provide clients with accurate quotes.
6. Create detailed floor plans and renderings using design software to help clients visualize the final outcome of their flooring projects.
7. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure seamless communication and follow-up with clients, including providing updates on product availability, delivery schedules, and installation timelines.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new flooring products, and installation techniques to provide clients with the latest design options and recommendations.
9. Attend trade shows, industry events, and product training sessions to expand your knowledge and network within the flooring industry.
10. Uphold the company's reputation for exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:
1. Previous experience in interior design, flooring, or a related field is preferred.
2. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is highly desirable. (preferred but not required)
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their design preferences.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and estimate flooring quantities.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet client appointments and deadlines.
6. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client locations within the designated area.
7. Physical ability to lift and carry flooring samples and materials as needed.
8. A passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics, color coordination, and spatial planning.
9. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to accommodate client schedules.
